2026 Minkey Hook in2 Hockey Season

For those who participated in the 2025 Minkey Program, you will receive an email from the Club with your personalised link to our online registration system with pre-populated data. Please click on that link to register your child/children.

For those who will be new to the Minkey Program in 2026, please click HERE to register.

If you have a 4-9 year old in your household or have 4-9 y/o grandkids or have friends or family with young kids who may be interested in giving hockey a go, then the Minkey Program is a perfect place to start.

The Minkey Program commences on Friday 24 April 2026 from 4:30pm-6pm. Further details regarding the Minkey Program are outlined below.

• Skill Development – the program involves experienced coaches/players introducing hockey to the little Minkies and developing their skills via drills and fun activities. The program does not involve any actual teams or competition games – just fun activities to develop their hockey skills each Friday.
• Fridays – Minkey sessions are held each Friday from 4:30pm–6pm throughout school Term 2 and the first half of Term 3. The first Friday afternoon session will be 2nd May.
• Equipment – participants will need to bring along to each session a hockey stick, shin guards, mouth guard and a water bottle. If you are unsure of what hockey stick to buy, then just come along to the first session and borrow a stick from the Club to work out the best option.
• Fees – the cost for the 2025 Minkey Program is $95 per child.
• Completion Certificate & BBQ – registration covers the fun associated with developing hockey skills during the program as well as a drink & BBQ, and a certificate presented to the participants at the last session of the program.

Welcome Gift - Minkies are part of the Club!

To welcome new Minkies into the program and make them feel part of the Sutherland Hockey Club, in conjunction with our major sponsor, Tradies, we will provide new Minkey participants with a shirt they can wear to each Minkey session.
